The Castle Hotel – Llandovery

In the best traditions of a Welsh coaching inn it has always been a place for travellers and visitors to rest, to replenish and recharge their batteries. It still is today.

A warm and friendly place to unwind, you’ll find a proper traditional bar, a roaring log fire to toast your toes and plenty of comfy sofas in which to lose yourself with a good book.

Situated in the drovers town of Llandovery – its a ideal base to explore Carmarthenshire  – “The Garden of Wales”, the Cambrian Mountains and the western Brecon Beacons.

The Manor Hotel – Crickhowell

Ideal for families and children, whether you are planning to chill out or venture into the mountains, or try some outdoor activities, our own leisure facilities are there to entertain you no matter what the weather is doing.

All you have to do is to choose to rest and relax, or get energetic, to recharge your batteries. We have the only indoor heated leisure pool (7.3m by 3.6m) in the area, with a sauna, a gym, Jacuzzi, and steam pool at your disposal.

Situated in possibly the most beautiful valley in the Brecon Beacons National Park, on the fringes of the pretty and sophisticated market town of Crickhowell, the views here are outstanding. The family owned Manor hotel sits at the foot of the ancient fortress, Table Mountain.

Peterstone Court – Brecon

Rumour has it that Charles I once visited the original site at Peterstone Court and it has also been associated with the companions of William The Conqueror.

Peterstone remains loyal to its Georgian heritage, but compliments the old, with a relaxed style, funky details and modern touches.

Given the local larder right on our doorstep it’s no suprise food is of huge importance to us.  Modern British but we like to keep things simple..

Most of the meat and poultry on the menus comes from our own family farm just seven miles down the road – now thats provenance for you…

With just twelve bedrooms, the eight rooms inside the main house are large, light spaces, you could – quite simply – get lost in. The stables have been converted into four contemporary loft rooms, possibly bigger than most London flats!

Another great benefit of a retreat at Peterstone is the lovely spa and leisure suite – converted from the underground cellars. Please ask for our separate brochure for details of treatments available.
